Practical information

The practice is located on the ground floor in the same building as pharmacy Nauta. If you navigate to Bankastraat 60, you will come to the entrance of pharmacy Nauta. When you walk 10 steps into Madoerastraat you will come to our practice entrance. Please note that it is paid parking in the area and there is limited parking space.

From 2025, the practice will no longer close for holidays. 

You can order repeat prescriptions via our prescription line 070-3503300, then choose option 2. Leave your name, date of birth and telephone number. Indicate which medicines you need, the strength, quantity and the name of your pharmacy.

If you call in the tape before 11am on weekdays, you can collect your medicines the next day after 3pm.

 

The somatic practice assistant Supervises patients with chronic conditions such as:

  • Diabetes mellitus
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Asthma/COPD

The mental health practitioner Counsels patients with psychological complaints. You can think of depression, anxiety disorders, relationship problems, burnout. If necessary, she refers them to a psychologist or psychotherapist.

The assistant will be the first to speak to you when you call the practice.

Between 8:00-12:00, she makes appointments for consultations, home visits (for a visit, please call before 11:00) or refers to telephone consultations (between 10:30-11:00). She knows the answer to many medical and practical questions. You can also contact her for referrals, questions about prescriptions and results of urine and/or blood tests. In the afternoon, the assistant is available from 13:30 to 16:00.

 

Between 10am-12pm, the assistant performs minor operations by appointment:

      • blood pressure measurement
      • sugar control
      • injections
      • urine test
 

You can visit the assistant by appointment (usually between 12.00 and 13.00) for:

      • spotting of warts
      • ears to be spat out
      • dress wounds
      • suture removal
      • injections
      • cardiac ultrasound
      • 24-hour blood pressure measurement
 

At the GP practice, we have the option of a number of diagnostic tests:

  • ECG (heartbeat)
  • Echo Doppler blood vessel examination
  • 24-hour blood pressure measurement
  • CRP measurement (demonstrate/exclude viral or bacterial infection)

GPs specialise in performing minor surgical procedures such as:

  • removal of fatty lumps
  • sebaceous cysts
  • birthmarks
  • warts
  • dermatofibromas
  • ingrown toenails

Furthermore, you can contact them for:

  • placement of joint injections
  • insertion of a (hormone-containing) coil
